Anyhoo—why the creative culture stagnation? The generations that should be the new avant garde had their creativity stolen from them. The key ingredients: age old quest for beauty/truth in the arts, suffering/hardship, love of love, love of life, wrestling with God/the Divine, hope, individuality, innovation, have been subsumed by and drowned in the Trinity of Woke/ClimateCult/narcissism.
Adherents are obedient true believers. They cannot create, but are good technocrats. They can program, they can play, but they can only remake, reframe, and scold. They are dying when only the State is God and they are eternally oppressed or drowning in the guilt of their privilege.
Last note, because now you have my mind buzzing. You know how “Joy” is Kamala’s new word? It’s another subversion of a word that has deep roots in Christianity. If you have 25 minutes, watch this talk (one of the best I’ve ever seen about youth today) and pay attention to the word Joy.
