The curious case of Kevin Jennings

You’ve probably been hearing a lot about GLSEN the last few weeks. They are the organization that Target heavily supports and very proudly supports and plans to continue supporting even though it’s a large part of the current blowback they are under. GLSEN is a Queer+ activism group heavily funded by big corporate which has pervaded our education apparatus. ← That’s precisely what is was built to do though; that sentence could serve as GLSEN’s mission statement. The org was founded by Kevin Jennings in late 80s/early 90s as Gay and Lesbian Independent School Teachers Network (GLSTN). The mission has always been the same. To paint 'gay' students as having a plight in schools (framed around “safety in schools”, always) but really advocating for a wide-open schemata of queer and gender identities/ideologies/avatars to fit under this umbrella of persecution and therefore the need for protection and ‘education’. In the late 90s after successfully establishing chapters nationwide and having a big conference in Salt Like City, they rebranded to Gay Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), as they are known today. This was Kevin’s brainchild and has been his life work for decades.

What once began as Kevin’s local activist group idea, had managed to grow into a behemoth within a decade flat. GLSEN is now a big money organization with players you would recognize across the corporate sphere.

And there is a whole lot more money pouring into GLSEN in 2023 than there was in 2020. But beyond the millions at play here, what is even more interesting is Kevin Jennings himself. You might recognize the name because he rose as high as Assistant Secretary of Education in the Obama administration. He served in the Office of Safe and Drug-Free Schools at the U.S. Department of Education. Of course he did. After leaving work for Obama, he led the Arcus Foundation, which is the largest foundation for LGBTQ+ advancement in the world. But during his time in our Department of Education, he was involved with the New Beginning Initiative, and here is where the story takes a ominous turn…

New Beginning Initiative was structured in the same manner through this “safe schools”-thrust. “Eliminating discrimination of LGBTQ from federal policies”. It specifically went after areas where Obama could legislate by executive fiat and subvert our law-making process. That’s why they take the “safety” angle; the same reason our coercive fed likes to declare everything a “public-health emergency”. These are the stepping-stones to passing transformative law without involving the legislature. But what is this all really about? Is it truly about safety? Recall I said it has always included gender in addition to sexuality (“Queer+”). This has been a consistent string in Kevin’s work. These are his books…

“Safe” has never been enough. Do you know who Kevin has publically stated as one of his biggest inspirations? Harry Hay. I don’t want to drift off into that story, but you should go read about him. He was a lifelong and proud Marxist, who was very much part of the North American Man-Boy Love Association (NAMBLA) movement. Yep, you’ll always find pedophilia lurking in these shadows. Hay was a sick sick puppy. A “Radical Faerie”, in fact. Put those book topics and Harry’s fetishes together and what do you see? And who funds this NBI initiative pursuing radical and transformative through executive action? Arcus Foundation, the Gill Foundation, and the Open Society Foundations. Ahhh, Open Society! Of course…

And so let’s return to the current lens. Where has GLSEN landed now? What do they push? The exact toolkit you’d think they would. Gender spirits and transactivism and seeding gender dysphoria to march children towards transition. Much more aggressive than that, they produce brochures to instruct children how to do it behind their parents’ backs. They are a huge advocate for perverse and pornographic materials in our schools. Like the ACLU, they fund legal campaigns to fight efforts to halt this overt and sexual-themed indoctrination. They aggressively pursue Queer+ curriculum and educational programs across our schools, in all 50 states. These are the organizations that have led to such chaos in our school system; to where we have overt perversion and sexualizing of children taking the place of mathematics. The nonstop “Pride” fest in every direction in the youngest of our schools screams this story.

If Target wants to proudly support GLSEN with millions in donations and signage in stores and be a vehicle for their cause, that is surely their prerogative. But what the left is learning very quickly right now is that America at large ain’t having this shit. It is not for activists and ideologues to engage our children on these topics. Mama Bears won’t stand for it, and us good fathers are ready to rise as well. This is why Target has taken over a $13 billion hit on market cap in a month flat. Listen to the words of their DEI-riddled Vice President of Human Resources. This is what they wanted. This is what they elected to brand themselves around. You reap what you sow.
