“Activism” is the key point here. The LGBT community faces a choice, it will either restrain itself and be content with equality, or it will continue to push for privileges and celebration and be destroyed from within as the vast majority of LGBT people, who simply want to live their lives in peace, distance themselves from the activists and extremists.

Man, thank you. I’ve benefited greatly from your stack and your Twitter threads over the past two years, but this one hit close to home. I feel the exact same way about my three daughters (13, 10, and 5). Have you seen the Blue’s Clue’s gay pride parade? They’ve ruined muppet babies as well, turning Gonzo into Gonzorella (I can send you links if you would like). Keep fighting the good fight man. I appreciate you.

Thank you very much, Joshua. Really appreciate the feedback. This is THE topic for me. I'd set my life aside to help halt it and push it back. In some ways I have. Keep fighting the good fight!

Good article. Definitely feel it.. Despite what DeSantis and his little pundits says, queer theory and CRT are embedded in Florida schools. We pulled our kids three years ago and homeschool. They are now 11 and 9. They still talk to some of their friends from their old school and we are friends with some of their parents. During the last week of school they had all of the kids ( down to 1st grade) celebrate pride by drawing the assortment of flags ( including the new trans flag) and asked them all if they feel like they can talk to their parents about these things. Important note, this isn't coming from a single teacher.. this stuff is institutional.

First, as you said.. leave my daughters sexuality and thoughts alone.

Two, as a Healthcare professional who was trained longer than 5 years ago, I recall explicitly the physiological reasons why gender dysphoria is a mental illness and find this whole thing extremely psychologically and sociologically destructive.

Last but more important, with all of the external identity focus now coupled with manipulating and being a slave to the bodies desires ( fabricated or not) the soul itself becomes harder to unfold and flourish. This process is an attack on the very spiritual nature of man.. which of course is one purposful element of the agenda. Only one God is allowed to them, the technocratic state.

This one hit home for me. My 7 year old came home from school and gave me a full rundown for each letter in LGBTQ. I’d be fine with L and G, but the rest is just bonkers. Why would a 7 yo need that? I complained to the head and she called me straight back saying the teacher had gone off piste.

The L and G was what opened the door to the rest.

Theo nails it here. We've become so numb to Pride this and Pride that, we simply roll our eyes and move on. In reality, we should call it out for the narcissistic "look at me, look at me" bullshit that it is. We don't even need Pride. Think about it: do people care anymore if someone is gay? Largely no, people don't care.

The vast majority of people in the US, including Christian conservatives, had settled into a truce on the gay rights issue (especially same sex marriage); religious people may not agree with the "gay lifestyle," but it's also not something people are invested in caring about anymore. You do your thing, I'll do mine. We had moved on.

But after Obergefell, "queer" activist groups had to find something to fight, so they switched to trans everything (btw, the tendency for activists, the State etc to do this isn't limited to Pride stuff, if abortion was completely banned tomorrow, I doubt pro-life activist groups would be like "welp we won, time to close up shop, see ya guys around"). People simply don't want wokeists kicking the culture war into overdrive by targeting minors with gender identity nonsense, parents are not the ones picking this fight.

This! The rabid activism vehicle could not be turned off. And now we're at "Queers for Palestine".

Theo,

Came across this today and thought you would appreciate it, if you've not seen it.

One of the best conversations on the alphabet mafia and pride, I've seen. What made it better was that the two commenters are gay and lesbian - which for me - lent immense credibility to their individual, but harmonious points.

It’s insidious and i agree, but can it now ever be rooted out?

Yes, I think it can. Florida is showing the model.

Just seeing this, my friend. They will continue to push the envelope until we glue it shut. There's too much of this inundating our children's minds. There's no scientific or medical consensus on The Spectrum of Things, not on what is included nor on what it means and certainly not on how to discuss it with children. Organizations taking it upon themselves to expose our children to their pro-LGBTQ2S+ messages are essentially marketing their product to them in hopes of enticing them to jump on the bandwagon. We place restrictions on marketing cigarettes to children for a good reason. In my mind, this is no different. Thank you for keeping the conversation going.

You describe this piece as being 'fiery' but I don't find it fiery at all! It's just common sense and I am with you 100%. I am a gay man who is thoroughly disgusted with what I have seen happen in the past few years. I dread the month of June and the Pride insanity. (I also live in Florida...and I work at Disney. You can check out my Substack for my thoughts on THAT.) When I have conversations with people about this, they always bring up 'love', and I say "What's love got to do with it?!" They took the oft-used slogan from the gay marriage debates ('Love is Love') and weaponized it to inject queer theory into schools. Gay marriage is legal, people have gay friends and relatives, there are gay people in nearly every TV show and movie, there are gay singers and celebrities...there is no need to 'teach' kids about being gay. I know my gay history and the gay rights movement was not about gaining the right to teach children about gay sex. As for the TQ+ ideology being introduced to children, it is cult indoctrination and child abuse. I want no part of it. I wish more gay people would wake up and demand a divorce from the Alphabet People.
