This was intended to be a discussion on Dr. Bock’s videocast series. We had some technical difficulties and ended up recording through Riverside. He is also posting this on his end. I was truly honored to receive an invitation to speak with Dr. Bock. I’ve admired his mind and his presence for a long time. Our conversation was wonderful! And I hope to do it again soon. Here is a post I wrote this morning on X…

I was thinking about our talk over coffee this morning and it was kind of mind-blowing to run back how many topics we covered. We didn't set out to, it was just a back and forth dance over issues we both care about and find important. But we clicked; both in personality and also how our mind had been approaching and analyzing most of this stuff. It once again reaffirmed that sense of bridge building to me. Of this seismic change occurring; this new structure forming in response to the collapse of the old one. "Brain trust"

Thank you again for reaching out and making that happen, Dr. Bock. It is so rich to flesh these discussions out in real-time like that. I'm beyond flattered you were interested in doing so with me. Sorry we had technical issues and that I don't have this to you yet. I'd be honored to sit down with you again. It really did feel like we had only put a priming coat on many of those topics. It was also neat how it felt like various and wildly different fronts were all kind of converging there at the end. Points to a good starting place for round 2. ;-)
