Ron DeSantis continues to be such a befuddling opponent for this moralizing left that became so accustomed to having their way and being painted the good guys.
I am a Canucks season ticket holder and nothing (besides a Cup win) would make me happier than if they stopped theme based nights. Just drop the puck and play the game!
I suspect the elections may not be so free and fair. But also, sometimes one has to look at the other candidates. I noticed that anyone running against Nancy Pelosi was Democratic Socialist and far more radical on the left side. On the Republican side in California, they are basically a non-functioning party from what I've seen.
They're working toward apartheid. Who knows if they'll make it to that promised land.
DeSantis is a man of word to action. Trump is a bloviator with some action however mostly a mess. DeSantis is the boring and dull but true leader we need. Too many still want clown world to continue, unfortunately. Trump is not as effective as he seems and not nearly as effective as DeSantis. Still, people want the shit-slinging.
The reason to continue to watch California is to see what they will try to roll out over the rest of the US. That said, it used to be that California was a few years ahead of other liberal states, but now they are all working more in lock step for many issues. Still, I think Newsom is happy to try the most egregious versions of the "next thing" here on those of us who still live here.
