DeSantis notches another W, this time against the NHL

Ron DeSantis continues to be such a befuddling opponent for this moralizing left that became so accustomed to having their way and being painted the good guys. The reason he is such a force, however, isn’t much because of Ron at all. He’s an excellent figurehead and plays the cards right, but ultimately, his power comes from the people. I was talking about that this morning…

The media is so desperate to paint him as this antagonistic culture warrior, and perhaps you think the description is apt. He definitely wades into those fronts frequently. But where that criticism misses the mark is failing to understand that his moves are moves that resonate with our people. Look at this story with the NHL today…

The league announced a job fair and the posting for the event stated that “Participants must be…”

• 18 years of age

• Identify as female

• Black

• Asian/Pacific Islander

• Hispanic/Latino

• Indigenous

• LGBTQIA+

• and/or a person with a disability

They could have saved themselves a lot of typing and just said it was a job fair for everyone except white cisheteronormative males. And shit, if it’s going to be a straight-up genuflection, go big and use the scripture! Of course, when you’re not lost in a temple of leftist derangement, it sure rings a lot like white-only water fountains. It’s just an inversion where it’s everyone-but-white water fountains. They call this “anti-racist”. Then of course you mix the LGBTQIA+ in (which means whatever the hell activists and ideologues want it to mean) and gender and sexuality and all of a sudden we’re talking about something that has nothing to do with race at all. The leftist blob. It’s disgusting and unacceptable that a sports league would host a job fair for everyone but straight white men. We wouldn’t be ok with a job fair for everyone except Asian lesbians, would we? How about the NBA throwing an event where Latinos are openly disinvited? Would that fly? These ideologues have made upwards of half of our society absolutely lose their minds. Doing wrong in the name of good, the most terrifying of all.

And this shit has drilled down into our corporate sphere. It’s been embedded there, is a better way to put it. And that takes me back to DeSantis. No, it’s not ok that a major sports league is hosting events where Americans with white skin are specifically excluded/publically unwelcome. That isn’t “progress” anyone should get behind. I know I sure as hell don’t. And so Ron’s office put out a public statement against it, which I was glad to hear they did:

"Discrimination of any sort is not welcome in the state of Florida, and we do not abide by the woke notion that discrimination should be overlooked if applied in a politically popular manner or against a politically unpopular demographic. We are fighting all discrimination in our schools and our workplaces, and we will fight it in publicly accessible places of meeting or activity.”

After this statement, the NHL deleted that gross invitation and clarified that the event is open to everyone… even white men who aren’t trans or gay. As is always the case, once this disgusting leftist activism got enough sunlight, the ginormous US corporate entity that was pushing it backed down to avoid the public heat. What is that, scene #164 of the same now? Makes you wonder why that same cycle keeps repeating, right? Why this vile ideology that so few support is so rampant in the upper-echelons of so many of our critical channels. You should go read that article linked above: tyranny of the minority.

If you want to call this being a culture warrior, I’m surely fine with that. I’m glad to have a leader that steps up to this bullshit. We all are down here. I’m very glad to be amongst a people that are standing up to this loud, overly-empowered and radical minority. That’s why FL DNC is extinct now. They became one-and-the-same with this identity-cult madness, this overt activism. And that doesn’t get play down here anymore, and won’t again for quite some time.
