I actually figured out what gets you into Twitter jail (since I've ended up there more than once myself). ;) It's any kind of language that could be construed as a threat of violence. I (an avid pro-lifer) once landed in T. jail by mocking a Yahoo article that said those pesky anti-abortion peeps were responsible for prolonging the nationwide diaper shortage. (Not kidding.) I said something like (in quotation marks): "American mothers, save the diaper market and kill your babies." Of course, I meant it as a parody, but the Twitter admins don't do sarcasm or wit, so I was hauled to T. jail. So as long as you refrain from wording your tweets this way, you'll be safe. :D
I would have thought the same if not for the delay. I posted that early yesterday and didn't get sanctioned for it until about 10am today. I'm thinking it got reported. It is what it is. I've expected to be silenced on there for a long time actually. Kind of surprised I made it this far.
Agreed. I've always been pretty careful with how I craft my words there. I think twisting that term into violence is freakin absurd. It doesn't mean I want to castrate him, it means he is already castratED. But see, even that is too mean to say to these Charmin-types. All good. I'll figure out a different way to say the same thing.
Thank you for all that you do. You are the one voice I believe that stands above all others on Twitter. It’s so hard being a female with views almost identical to yours - I’m constantly berated or hated. I’ve just learned to live with not being liked. But it’s so comforting to know that I am not alone.
Apparently Elon hasn’t gotten the rot out yet because I was permanently banned from Twitter just a few days ago after arguing with a gender ideologists
As the parent of a school shooting survivor, I have some pretty strong feelings about the shooter. My son (at 15 years old) stepped over the dead body of his sisters best friend, who had been shot nine times in the head. He recognized her socks, because it was Valentine’s Day and she showed him earlier that day. When we saw her father on tv searching for his daughter, my son pulled me aside and told me she was gone. We went to 7 funerals in one week, more than I’ve been to my whole life. So when the shooter was facing the death penalty I posted “I hope he gets the death penalty” and was instantly banned for life. Twitter sucks.
"But what really rubs me is the fact I get called white supremacist, racist, bigot, transphobe, anti-LGBTQ, conspiracy theorist, nazi, science-denier, anti vaxxer, climate change-denier, disinformation moron, etc etc etc, on this platform almost every single day."

SOME opinions and viewpoints on the important issues of our time are treated as sacrosanct. However, other perspectives are shouted down in a hail of epithets and insults. The Motte & Bailey fallacy is on display across platforms for many of us who do not march in lock-step to the tune of Progressive-Liberal cult ideology.

We've all been there. Facts, statistics, and timeless moral virtue could slap some in the face, yet they will hold fast onto the precious platitudes they've been instructed to believe.
